What is a System?

A system is usually defined as the typical arrangement in which all its particular units get assembled and work together according to the given set of defined rules and regulations.

As in the example of the Watch, that is a time displaying system, and generally, it follows the set of rules to display the exact time for the day effectively. From this, it is concluded that all the components are interrelated; if one fails, the entire system will stop working.

What do you mean by embedded system?

The meaning of "Embedded" means something that is attached to another part of the things effectively.

Moreover, the embedded system can be defined as the respective computer hardware system in which the software is embedded effectively. An embedded system can be considered a kind of independent system or can be defined as part of a large system. 

The embedded system can generally be a microcontroller or microprocessor-based system defined to perform a specific task effectively. The best example of the embedded system is the "fire alarm” that can effectively sense smoke.

Components of Embedded Systems:

Characteristics of the Embedded Systems

·       Real-time as well Reactive: Another most important advantage of the embedded system is that they are quite real-time and reactive, which means many embedded systems usually react to the changes continuously in the respective system environment. They also compute the results in the respective real-time without any further delay.

Advantages:

The various advantages of the embedded system are as follows:

·        Embedded systems can be customized very easily and effectively.

·        The power consumption in the respective embedded system is quite low.

·        The very biggest advantage of the embedded system is that its costs are low.

Disadvantages:

The various disadvantages of the embedded system are as follows:

·        In the embedded system, the usual efforts for development are quite high.

·       The biggest disadvantage for the embedded system is that it takes more time to be gets marketed (to make an established position in the respective market).

What do you mean by IoT?

IoT usually stands for "Internet of things". In general, the internet of things usually describes the network of the many physical objects, which means the "things" that are quite embedded with the respective sensors, many software, and many other technologies that can be used to connect as well as the exchanging of the data with the respective devices and the respective systems all over the internet.

Moreover, these respective devices can vary from ordinary household objects to the most sophisticated industrial tools. In today's world, more than 7 billion devices are usually connected to the internet and effectively provide useful services to communities
